What is Organic?
You enter the grocery store and make your way to the produce section. There is an apple with an organic sticker on it, and one without. Both are shiny. Both are firm. Both are red. Which apple do you choose?
Organic refers to the way farmers grow and process agricultural products, including fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products, and meats. The USDA defines Organic agriculture as “an ecological production management system that promotes and enhances biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil biological activity. It is based on minimal use of off-farm inputs and on management practices that restore, maintain, or enhance ecological harmony.”
Why does PROBAR® use organic ingredients?
Simply put, organic is cleaner… for the environment and for your body. Organic agricultural practices conserve soil and water and reduce pollution by taking synthetic pesticides and harmful fertilizers out of the process, resulting in cleaner food and fuel for your body.
We are committed to upholding the integrity of our products, and we give you that quality assurance through USDA or QAI Certified Organic seals.
