My PROBAR story began on a calm lake one Saturday morning in Maysville, NC. My friend and I had set out to catch some bass and to relax from the busy week before. For the trip I packed a PROBAR, some bottle water, and a pair of sunglasses. We ended up with no fish, not one bite, after around 8 hours on the lake.

Fast-forward a week and a few days.

Now I’m on a trail, hiking to who knows where; again with a supply of water and my trusty PROBAR. After every few miles I take a bite or two and quickly store the remainder in the wrapper then shove it in my pocket.

The versatility of the PROBAR is my favorite part. I’ll eat them for endurance sports, for easy to store meals, and sometimes just because I like the taste (especially Koka Moka)
