Linda Vasu is a teacher of 7th graders in an urban New York City school. She works hard each long day to inspire and mentor young minds. She’s also a PROBAR customer with a great story. Thanks for sharing it with us Linda.
Endurance? Focus? Concentration? I’m an indoor athlete: a humanities teacher in an urban school. Each day I navigate a tricky landscape.
Picture this. The alarm rings at 5:00 am, the start of a long commute into New York City and the Columbia University campus.
From 7:45 am till 4:00 pm I’m surrounded by the hum of multi-active, multi-tasking, multi-scattered,fun loving 7th graders. We read; we discuss; we think; we write. So I know all about stories. I’m the motivator, the one who inspires all kinds of minds in a challenging environment. Poor ventilation, glaring fluorescent lights, laptop screens, a whirring schedule of hour long classes.
Noon isn’t even the half way mark. The cafeteria lunch, though tasty, makes me crave a nap. And I need energy that enlivens and keeps me going. So I reach for my stash of PROBAR Apple Cinnamon Crunch or Art’s Original Blend. Energy that lasts…and lasts.
Because when the kids leave, there are still essays to grade, meetings to attend, prep for the next day’s classes, and the long commute home.
I’ve tried every bar out there. PROBAR never leaves me sluggish. And a clear mind is essential for a healthy body.
Each customer whose “Your PROBAR Story” is published here on the blog will receive a Seventh Heaven Pack which is one PROBAR of each of the original flavors. We love to hear from our customers about their PROBAR story so if you’ve got one share it with us.
