I retired early in October of 2007 from a 27 year carear. I retired so early that I need additional income. So I started selling a product at consumer shows like Home shows, Boat shows and fairs.

When you have your own business if you leave to eat lunch you loose sales. The food at these shows is the typical high fat, high priced giant corn-dog type fare.

On the way to my second show I needed to stop at a store and get something quick and easy to eat to get me through the day. I came across a Whole Foods store and started looking around. In the bar section I found the PROBARs.

I had never seen them before and bought a couple because the ingredients looked healthy and they had 300+ calories. I am not that fond of energy bars but it would be much easier to eat than anything else.

When I got hungry that day and was very busy I grabbed one of the PROBARs. I was surprised at how good it tasted and how it satified my hunger. I could take a bite, lay it down, and help customers.

I now always take a PROBAR when I am going to sell at a show. I also take them when I go kayaking, fishing, or hiking - the things I really retired for.
