Most of the PROBAR stories we receive are from newer customers who have recently found PROBAR and can’t wait to tell the world about it. But this story comes to us from Linda Lambert of Bellingham, Washington who found that PROBAR is more than just a meal replacement bar but that in the most dire situations it can be a “hoop” replacement bar. Her story explains.
I guess I should tell this story because it happened in 2004 and since that time PROBARs seem to be everywhere–in coffee houses, backpacks and even in Nordstrom’s.
It was August and I was 61, participating in my first triathlon, the Danskin in Seattle. My goal was simply to finish.
During the last mile, I lost the back from my hoop earring. Never without earrings, I extracted a raisin from my remaining bit of PROBAR and pressed it in place. It held, and I crossed the finish line, appropriately accessorized.
When I do the Danskin again this year I’ll make sure my earrings are secure, because I don’t want to use a single ingredient of PROBAR for other than its intented purpose–great taste and nutrition.
Each customer whose “Your PROBAR Story”is published here on the blog will receive a Seventh Heaven Pack which is one PROBAR of each of the original flavors. We love to hear from our customers about their PROBAR story so if you’ve got one share it with us.
