When soon to be storekeeper Sofie Hansen from Denmark arrived in New York City last month, she was looking for something to snack on after a long flight.  Wanting something healthy she dropped into a Whole Foods and found PROBAR.  The rest, as they say, is history.

My name is Sofie. I’m a danish girl, 31 yrs old. I grew up on a farm. My father was an organic farmer, so I’ve been raised with good habits - eating healthily.

This month I went by myself to New York City for 10 days to go get some ideas for my new Health Food Store - combined with vitamins etc. which I’m going to open in Copenhagen in July 08.

My first day there I went to Whole Foods on Union Square and I went straight to the bar section because I needed something light, but still a healthy little meal for my morning snack. The first thing my eyes felt in love with was the ProBar. The wrapping is just so beautiful that I could eat that too. It’s beautiful and colorful.

The inside was so delicious and mouthwatering. You can taste every single ingredient. It looks delicious compared to many of that kind of bars. I felt just great. It gave me energy to late that day, so I didn’t eat lunch before 4 pm. Yummy:)
