When new PROBAR customer Seth Green was looking for something to get him through the Harpoon Brewery B2B ride he found PROBAR in his local REI and figured he’d give it a try.

Not only did PROBAR live up to his hopes, it got him through the 148 mile cycling ride. Here’s his story.

I just discovered ProBar at REI a week before a 148 mile Harpoon Brewery B2B bike ride I had signed up for. I was looking for something better than other bars which are often carb heavy. ProBar looked like the right food to carry, with more calories along with some fat and protein.

I finished the ride feeling much better than I expected and was never low on energy, even though the ride was almost twice as far as I had previously ridden. The Harpoon Brewery ride took me and my friends 8 hours of riding time, plus time for “refueling”. It was imperative to eat (and drink) enough along the way.

The ProBars I chose were tasty and satisfying. They don’t melt along the way (in a hot jersey pocket) like many other bars.

I’m hooked and I’m already passing the word along to my friends about your product. Keep up the good work.

PS. Last night I discovered Whole Foods carries your products too. I purchased some bars to take on a flight today. I anticipate a ProBar will be better than the food offered on the plane.
