PROBAR has been known to get people through long hikes, incredibly tiring bike rides, ski trips, motherhood challenges, plane rides and more.  But this story from Lori is a first for our PROBAR stories - getting through tough times of battling cancer.

My best friend was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, it was the most lame experience I have ever been through in my entire life.  

Anyway, I spent a great deal of time with her at the hospital and at her chemo treatments and then at home in her recovery…(recovery and now remission)  

While in the hospital I would go to whole foods to get some power bars and smoothies.  I happened to stumble across PROBAR and at first I was like no way am I going to get that its got 400 calories and like 17 grams of fat.  I’m glad I did because the energy lasted me through hours with my friend so I could stay with her longer in the hospital.  

After all that she has been through, she loves them also.  We usually go in on a box of them together (super expensive here in Calif) but we love the Kettle Corn and she loves the Koka-Moka.

So I really felt I should thank you for making such a great product.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
