While on leave in Florida, Lt Col Kristen Beals stumbled upon PROBAR in a bike shop and has been a fan since first bite! She has been using the bars she purchased in the U.S. as a meal replacement.

To help her get through the last month of her time in Iraq, PROBAR is sending Kirsten and her unit a nice supply of bars to keep them savoring the flavor until they make it back home. Here is her story of how she found us.

I found PROBAR while wandering through a bicycle shop in Clearwater, FL. The promise of organic ingredients and the letter from Art Eggertsen on the back of the package convinced me that this was a product with potential.

I purchased one of each flavor and saved them for a special occasion. That special occasion has arrived, and I am thoroughly enjoying the fresh ingredients and intense flavors that each bar holds.

I also appreciate the heartiness and satiety that each bar has, because I am using them as meal replacements.

You see, I am an Air Force trauma surgeon deployed to Iraq. There is no access to organic/vegan/nutrient packed foods here. I am grateful that I had the foresight and willpower to save my PROBARS!

I am the envy of all my fellow airmen. I can’t wait to get back home and try the rest of the flavors!
