Kenneth Silvestri of the Eliminator Cycling group sent us this story about how he and his fellow cyclists feel about PROBAR.

For a group of guys whose motto on their last cycling tour (Connecticut to California) was “Pain is just weakness leaving your body” they sure look like they are having fun. Thanks Kenneth for sending along the images below!

We are a group of endurance cyclist that are always looking for a nutritious food that is easy to eat while on the bike. There is not a so-called energy bar on the market that we have not tried.  Most are just overpriced candy bars in deceiving wrappers.

When I said endurance cyclist I do mean endurance. A century ride (100 miles) is a tall order for most. Three of us have already done over 25 century’s this year as of October.  We compete in events as long as 750 miles with a clock th

at does not stop. Doing double, triple and quad century’s in an event is not uncommon for us.

This year we cycled across the United States on fully loaded bicycles weighing 70+ pounds and averaged just under 100 miles a day! Add to that 171,400+ feet of climbing and you got yourself a workout.

For us the Pro Bar is a winner.  All we had to do was look at the ingredients to see this was not one of the energy bar imposters. This is real organic food.  When I read the Nutrition Facts and did not find any words I could not pronounce I was sold!  The big bonus is they taste terrific. I will admit I have yet to try them all but the ones I have I love.

I only have one complaint’¦..  They are not as easily available in stores as I wish they were.

We’re doing our best to get the bars in more locations! If anyone reading this has a suggestion for a location where PROBAR should be sold, contact us. If we get into that location we may just thank you with a few bars, gratis! That’s how we roll.
