Climbing and PROBAR Helping to Change a Life
This story comes to us from Bruce Wilson who has been one of our biggest fans for a while now. He credits PROBAR with being a factor in his change of lifestyle.
His story is a good read and inspires us here at PROBAR to keep making what we feel is a great product. Thanks Bruce!

I was introduced to PROBAR When I first graduated high school, I was overweight and fairly bored with my life. I went to my local climbing gym to find some sense of excitement, but was introduced to what would shape and change my life forever. The positive energy from the environment of climbing has shown me a very happy and healthy lifestyle.
This is also when I found PROBAR. I started eating PROBARs as meal replacements or when I was starving for some fuel at the cliff. You know the feeling of when your tank is basically empty. I think PROBAR is the fuel for life.
I found that PROBAR represents a healthy happy lifestyle and seriously which one of us does not want to be fit and happy? From when I was turned onto climbing and PROBAR I lost 60lbs and found true happiness with what my life is today as a Photographer/Climber.
Being a Photographer/Climber has been a very large blessing in my life. I’ve the opportunity to climb and shoot in some amazing places. Lately cruising around my home state of Utah which has a large variety of landscapes and wonderful rocks to climb!
I feel lucky that PROBAR has been there with me the whole time. Joe’s Valley has been the main destination for my recent weeks on the road, but I had the opportunity to go down to Southern Utah University for a boulder competition with the intent to spread the good name of PROBAR.
Climbing Competitions are always fun, you go in thinking about cranking hard and you leave with a slew of new friends for life. The energy at the comp was very positive and through out the day I passed out bars and stickers and got to explain the health benefits of unprocessed food and the fuel it gives you to put out when it really counts.
When all was said and done and the awards were being handed out the outdoors director Rob and I gave a speech about the benefits of eating PROBAR and supporting our Utah company and I think its safe to say that PROBAR has a few new fans! The people of Cedar City were very kind and very accommodating and I would highly recommend Cedar City for outdoor activity.
I want to Thank PROBAR for their wonderful product that helped change my life and many lives around the world. Here are some photos from the comp and of some friends and I out in the beautiful Utah desert.
