PROBAR is DEEElicoius
We’ve had athletes that have climbed Everest and been to the South Pole contact us to tell us about the bars, but this is our first Olympic Athlete that has stepped up to sing praises of her experiences with PROBAR. I’m sure there are more Olympic level athletes out there that have a love affair with the bars so speak up!
Of Sharon, the University of North Carolina said:
Sharon Couch could be labeled as the woman who started the Tar Heel Olympic tradition, as she became the first Carolina female athlete in the Olympics in 1992 when she finished sixth in the long jump. She would return to the world stage in 2000 where she competed in the 100-meter hurdles in Sydney.
Sharon wrote in a story about her first encounter with PROBAR and we’re happy to publish it here and to welcome her into the PROBAR family.
Hello my name is Sharon Couch Seagrave and I just discovered your bars at the store at my gym!!! I am sooo very excited because even though I am a two time Olympic track and field athlete it has taken me years to learn how to eat healthy and why whole foods are sooooo important to my general health and happiness.
My church did a “Daniel Fast” which is basically vegan eating for 21 days. I have extended mine to indefinitely.
So today when I got to the gym and was hungry and didn’t have time to run home and get one of my homemade snacks I wandered into the cafe and lo and behold–ProBars!!! Yeah! I ate half before my workout and couldn’t wait to eat the other half after finishing.
Can you say DEEEElicious! I came right home to look you up and here you are. I am ordering a box right now. Thanks so much for making these. it will make my life on the road (I am a spokesperson for  a physiological footwear co.)much easier and healthy! Who says you can’t have it all!!!
Sincerely,
Sharon
