Do It Yourself Bars
There are a lot of DIY (Do It Yourself) recipes out there for bars and I’ve seen a lot of them and thought they looked tasty. While reading a recent issue of Outside Magazine there was an article about Art Eggertsen, the founder of PROBAR and low and behold, a recipe for a DIY bar.
While I was musing about trying them out, Matt from the Well Fed Man blog took the initiative to get it done. And they look awesome.
Check out the recipe over at the Well Fed Man blog and give it a go using Art’s suggested recipe as seen in Outside Magazine.

I made these yesterday and they are *delicious* !
For the chopped nuts I only used pecans, and for the granola I found a cranberry orange blend that complimented the recipe well.
We keep our fridge/freezer temps pretty low, so the only thing I had to do differently was chill them for a little bit longer.
Great recipe! Thanks for sharing!
