In the world of competitive freeskiing (otherwise known as extreme or big mountain skiing) the courses are difficult and very challenging, but it seems that some competitors make it look easy.  PROBAR athlete Crystal Wright is one of those skiers who can take a mountainside riddled with cliffs, steeps and obstacles and make it look smooth and pretty as she flawlessly (most of the time) charges down the mountain’s flank.

This past season Crystal has found success on the Freeskiing World Tour, reaching the podium in all of the tour events and capturing the overall title as tour champion.  During the final event held at Alyeska, Crystal took second and secured her tour victory.  She has a write up about the Alyeska event on her blog.

We’re stoked for you Crystal and happy to have you representing PROBAR in the world of freeskiing.  Have a great summer and hopefully next year will be as successful as this.
