No matter what your diet is, the hardest part of a healthy lifestyle is making sure your body is constantly getting all of the nutrients it needs. You start exercising more, now your body needs more to keep it going. Sloane found this to be a problem while she tried to balance numerous sports with her vegetarian diet. Luckily, she found PROBAR, packed full of nutrients, so her diet could keep speed with her lifestyle.

I have been involved in athletics my whole life. In high school, I opted for the vegetarian lifestyle, without much supplementation. I felt great at first, but eventually I started to feel run-down, tired, losing weight and muscle mass and my performance in sports was going down. I tried different shakes and informed myself more about vegetarianism, but since I was so on-the-go in high school and then college, I still wasn’t improving, physically.

I found meal-replacement bars, but many included ingredients I wasn’t enthusiastic about. Then, PROBAR came into my life. I could easily eat one before or after a workout or practice, without feeling too heavy. I gained my strength back and restored my weight, feeling energetic and strong again!

I now know how to be a better vegetarian, so I don’t need to rely on bars as much, but I do rely on PROBAR, when I can’t eat right, am feeling lighter and weaker than normal, for great taste, ingredients and nutrition. I am excited to try all your new flavors to see how they taste and make me feel! I definitely recommend them to anyone, athlete or not, who have high-caloric needs for a snack, or as part of a meal on-the-go!
