As we wrapped up 2008 and celebrated going into 2009, Los Angeles has been a Great place for the PROBAR® RV Roadtrip to end up during the Holidays!
Amanda and I flew to Utah for the PROBAR® Christmas Gathering where Art cooked a Humongous Vegan meal that was Amazing! If you think the bars are good, you should try some of Art’s Gourmet cooking We were also treated to a day at the notorious Snowbird Ski Resort.
Upon returning to LA, we had a nice little RV christmas and also attended the Premiere of 1 Giant Leap pt.2 “What about Me.” The film was an inspiring Spiritual Quest and World Music Travelogue that spans over 4 years and 50 different countries. Off the Mat into the World is the Organization that presented this Film. They have an amazing organization that teaches people to become Active in their Local/Global Communities.
The following weekend, our good friend Paul Jones from the Band “Sturgeon” took us to see VOLTO play at a small Hollywood venue called The Baked Potato. It was Awesome to see Danny Carey of the band TOOL, wailing on drums only 10 feet away from us!
Another highlight of being here was going to the EVOLV climbing shoes Manufacturing Facility in Buena Park. My friends at Evolv were gearing up for a Big-year and I’m excited to try out some of their new Climbing/Approach shoes!
We are gearing up to head to San Diego and it’s about time for another Outdoor Retailer Show in Utah. It’s going to be a Busy Year for PROBAR® and the PROBAR® RV Roadtrip.
