Born in Jackson Hole Wyoming to ski bums she remembers skiing on wooden skis down her driveway at 2 years old. When she was five her family moved to Pinedale to work on a ranch that was 50 miles from the closes town and had no electricity.
She spent her summers outdoors enjoying the sites around her. She started ski racing at a young age and quickly became an elite skier. In 2002 she was chosen to forerun the Women’s Olympic downhill and was the first person to ski the course. In college she became a conventional ski racer and raced NCAA skiing for Montana State University. She was also a member of the rodeo team. She never lost her love for free skiing and backcountry skiing and quickly returned to her roots. She is now a part of the freeride world tour.
