Nick Halliday
Nick Halliday is an endurance runner, Nordic skier, and writer. He also loves studying World War 2 and wants to become a Historian when he goes to college. He loves to share stories about his adventures in hopes that people will find them interesting. He loves distance running and wants to run his first marathon this season. “There is something about being out for long periods of time that excites me,” says Nick. He is also interested in gear and nutrition that help him achieve his personal goals in everyday training and in his races.

Nick has a passion for writing, it is a way he can share his thoughts and ideas with people about things he enjoys doing. He is currently attending the UTVA Virtual Academy and playing the Viola. “I used to play in an Irish Folk Band and now I play in an Orchestra,” says Nick. He also likes to cook meals and treats for friends, and family to enjoy that are healthy and delicious!
Ever since he was a child he has enjoyed his family’s passion for healthy eating. Nick comments, ”We soon found PROBAR and fell in love with them. We are a big supporter of all things healthy and we encourage others to do the same. I use PROBAR to help me in my training and recovery or if I just need a healthy snack.”
This season Nick plans on doing longer races, and adding a few more challenging ones. His main race for the season will be the TransRockies Run3 Solo race, leading up to that he will be doing some of the local half marathons and steeplechases. He can’t wait to share his experiences!
