It may get old and repetitive, but there is a reason why parents have battled for years to get their kids to eat broccoli, spinach, carrots and other veggies. Broccoli

Whether you know it as baby trees or its scientific name, Brassica oleracea var, you’re probably aware that broccoli is a pretty healthy food choice. Even though wheatgrass is believed to have been used by civilizations that were around thousands of years ago, it now seems to be gaining popularity almost daily. It is often added to smoothies and other blended drinks and contains vitamin E, vitamin b6, riboflavin, many other important vitamins and essential minerals. Carrots

Although they’re often considered rabbit food, carrots provide many important nutrients for humans as well. This root is regarded by many as one of the easiest vegetables to grow, and because of this they have been popular worldwide for centuries. Carrots have been around for a while, and they are believed to have originated in the Persian region of Western Asia. Spinach

Unlike more popular root vegetables such as potatoes and carrots, beets don’t seem to get the same amount of love. As unpopular as they may be, beets provide important nutrients that help to round out a well balanced diet.  Beets contain Folate, a natural vitamin that is believed to promote a healthy heart and mind, as well as numerous other vitamins and minerals. So remember that although bringing beets to the dinner table may not win you any popularity awards, it just might help your diet become a little bit healthier.
