The Kimball Art Center in Park City, Utah is one of those cornerstone organizations to the community. Hosts of the annual Park City Arts Festival, the Kimball has been home to amazing displays of art as well as a catalyst for the arts here in Park City.

As such, PROBAR® is excited to sponsor the 1st Annual Run for the Arts “Follow Me to the Kimball” 5K which will raise money for the Kimball. The race is taking place on the morning of August 2nd, the second day of the festival.

Kimball Art Center in Park City - Run for the Arts 5K

With the name of our founder being Art and a race called Run for the Arts we couldn’t pass up the chance to jump on board. Really though, the Park City Arts Festival in its 39th year this year is a result of the hard work that the Kimball Art Center has done over the years. This is our way of giving back to the community we call home.

I hope to see you there! Register to run at Runnercard.com

About the Kimball Art Center

Once known as Kimball Corner, the original building on the property operated as a livery stable built to serve the tiny mining community. In 1929, the site transformed into the Kimball Bros. Garage, and for 43 years, the Kimball served Park City’s automotive needs.

In 1976, arts enthusiast Bill Kimball – along with support from members of the Park City community – transformed the dilapidated garage into a non-profit community center for the visual arts. Since that time, the Kimball has served art lovers in the Park City area by providing top quality exhibitions and events. Today the Kimball stands at the literal center of a year-round resort community which plays host to world-class events.
