In May, PROBAR donated 1200 Meal bars to the earthquake relief effort in Nepal. We worked with Dr. Gyanu Lamichhane of the Johns Hopkins Division of Infectious Disease to ensure that the bars made it through customs and did not get held up at the airport. Dr. Lamichhane and his team carried the Meal bars from the USA to Nepal and personally delivered them to pregnant women, mothers, children and military aid teams in the Sindhupalchowk region.

Thank you Dr. Lamichhane for helping to ensure that the PROBARs made an impact during such a terrible and challenging time. From our standpoint it’s great to know that we could help out in some small way.
