This vegan recipe is something I have perfected over the years and make this at least 4 times a week because my kids and I love it! It never gets old, surprisingly, but can be easily changed up by adding in different fruit or nut butter. Here are the cast of characters:
I have found that using fresh pineapple instead of frozen will really take your smoothie to the next level. It adds the perfect amount of fresh sweetness while the banana and almond butter add the texture and creaminess you crave.
The Perfect Green Smoothie
1.5 cup almond milk
3/4 cup fresh pineapple
1 Tbls almond butter
2 big handfuls spinach
1 cup frozen strawberries
Add ingredients (in order listed) to blender. Blend until smooth, pour and enjoy!
