The mountains are my playground, my home, and my motivation. Skiing, running, hiking, and biking are my choice ways of getting to the top of a peak or far from the bustle of the city, and through it all have led me to my nutrition and yoga practice as ways to support my own, and many other active bodies.
I hold a Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition and am the co-founder of SEEK studio – a yoga, fitness and wellness studio for an outdoor-minded community in Salt Lake City. As yoga teacher and functional trainer I enjoy helping people move, strengthen, recover and perform more efficiently and sustainably.
I can see and recognize the ingredients in what I am eating. As a nutritionist I am a huge proponent of eating whole, real foods, as close to their plant source as possible. However, I am also busy, active person and realize we can’t all sit down to a garden-fresh salad every time we’re hungry. For me, PROBAR bridges the gap between eating minimally processed plant-based foods, and eating on the go – whether than means on the trail or on your commute.
